About the poets:
National award-winning poet and Fenland Poet Laureate 2012, Elaine continues to perform her poetry around the country and organize poetry events. She is studying the MA in Wild Writing at Essex University and is also a volunteer at WWT Welney. Follow Elaineʼs poetry blog at: flightfeather.wordpress.com.

Jeremy has had his poems published in Magma and received a commendation in the Ver Poetry Competition. He was a solicitor for 25 years but is now being re-educated as a teacher. He is currently doing an MA in Creative Writing at Essex University.
Melinda is a landscape/nature writer and poet, alongside her work in conservation and agriculture policy and practice. She won Country Living’s Best Writer Award in 2011.
