The Professional and Higher Partnership Ltd (“P&H”) is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Alexandra Webster as its marketing representative outside North America. Ms Webster’s role will focus on developing the institutional and course adoption markets. She will also liaise with P&H’s North American representative, Emma Barker.
P&H publishes two imprints: (1) Creative Writing Studies, aimed at scholars, teachers, and students of creative writing in colleges and universities; and (2) The Professional and Higher Partnership, aimed at professionals working in higher education.
Ms Webster, who is based in the UK, has over a decade of experience in professional and academic publishing. Most recently she was Associate Director of Academic Publishing at Palgrave Macmillan; previously she held a number of marketing and editorial posts at the Continuum International Publishing Group.
Commenting on the agreement, P&H Director Anthony Haynes said, “We are delighted to have appointed someone of Alexandra’s calibre. This comes as we finalise a number of agreements for promoting our lists through cloud and mobile publishing. We’re confident that 2013 will bring rapid growth in both frontlist and backlist sales”.
